We Teleport and Dance, Chooc Ly Tan

What if the night, often neglected and underestimated when thinking of cities and architecture, is actually what holds the keys to our everyday experiences? Could the night be a transformative space, that lets us dream our collective future?听

In collaboration with the , this multi-media exhibition brings together three artists who re-present and reinhabit the urban night: Rut Blees Luxemburg, Alisa Oleva, and Chooc Ly Tan.听

The artists explore the urban night and its potential via large scale photography, a video live archive made collectively across the global community from Mariupol to Ho Chi Minh City, and a commissioned DJ set to take us into the night.听听

Rut Blees Luxemburg

Rut Blees Luxemburg has a long relationship with nocturnal London and her photographic works emphasise the night as a time and location for poetic immersion and transformative perception. Her work is held in numerous collections including the Tate and Centre Pompidou and her photographic tableau London Dust has been shown at the Museum of London.听听

Alisa Oleva

Alisa Oleva is an artist working in the spaces of the city, exploring urban choreography and urban archaeology, traces and surfaces, borders and inventories, passages and cracks. Her interactive situations, performances, movement scores, personal and intimate encounters, and walk-shops have taken place most recently in Cairo, Mariupol, Belgrade, Felixstowe, Vilnius, Minsk, and Luxembourg.听
