This year's Student Awards Ceremony and RSAW Practice Exhibition takes place at SBARC|SPARK, Cardiff University.
We welcome built environment professionals and students to come along to celebrate this year's Student Award Winners and see the work of Architectural Practices across Wales.
The exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for students to not only find out more about practices in Wales but to meet with the project architects and to start building connections.
In addition to the student awards ceremony and Chartered Practice exhibition, we will be displaying a video inspired by the Soho Kids Xmas Lights project, co-created and managed by Antonio Capelao, the Cardiff Kids Xmas Lights project involves engaging pupils in a hands-on spatial design experience, guiding them from conceptualization to materialization as they design their own Christmas lights to be exhibited at Canal Quarter in Cardiff between November 2024 till January 2025.
Ultimately, the project seeks to inspire children by emphasizing their potential role as future contributors to the city. It aims to foster a sense of ownership and creative involvement in shaping Cardiff's legacy, while also incorporating STEAM subjects into the primary education curriculum.
