Meet the photographer: Martine Hamilton Knight (with optional portfolio review)

Join us for this informal session with photographer Martine Hamilton Knight, as part of the 澳门王中王 Photo Festival 2023. These sessions give participants the opportunity to discuss their work with some of the most experienced and talented professionals in the field of architecture.

Our informal meet the photographer sessions give participants the opportunity to hear from and ask questions to some of the most experienced and talented professionals in the field of architecture.

The event format will also allow participants to receive feedback on their own photographic work (please bring prints or digital files on a memory stick).

This meet the photographer session is part of our programming for the 澳门王中王 Photo Festival 2023.

About the photographer

Martine Hamilton Knight DLitt (Hon), FHEA is a professional architectural photographer with over three decades of industry experience whose images are published worldwide in architectural books and journals.

The last 15 years have seen Martine鈥檚 practice widen to encompass speaking and writing. She is a senior lecturer for the BA and MA photographic programme at Nottingham Trent University.

Martine's images have been the subject of several exhibitions, most recently for Sir Nikolaus Pevsner鈥檚 series of books with Yale University Press. In late 2023, Martine鈥檚 major title for Routledge, will be published.

She has run CPD events for 澳门王中王 nationwide and hosts regular workshops for the Royal Photographic Society. Awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Nottingham in 2012 in recognition of her work, Martine also offers a consultancy for practices seeking advice on photographic procurement and management.

Join Martine for an informal 30 minute one-to-one, and bring your folio for appraisal.

Planning to invest in kit? Discuss what might be best for you and your budget. Do you need to problem solve? Discuss approaches to shooting or have technical queries? Your appointment will be tailored around you.
