is a non-profit social enterprise that provides on-site experience for architects, students, and people interested in architecture, conservation, and heritage craft. It provides workshops in existing buildings that are undergoing works, are derelict, or in a state of disrepair (normally listed) while giving insight to the different roles and skills that can be used in practice.
The Hope Foundry was built in 1831 and is a stunning Grade II listed building with a longstanding history of making, creating, and inventing, as part of Leeds's proud industrial heritage. Home to Music & Arts Production (MAP) Charity for ten years, their vision is to transform Hope Foundry into a space where everyone can access the creative arts – opening new facilities in 2022 that will benefit the entire community.
