Join us for a lecture by architectural photographer Nikola Olić as part of our programming for the °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ Photo Festival 2023.
Following the lecture, Nikola Olic will be joined for an in-conversation session with noted photography curator and author William Ewing.
The unmanipulated and un-staged photography of Nikola Olić seeks poetry and portraiture in architecture and is seen as a sculptural study of the modern everyday. It is offered as a shared public experience and a poetic connection between architecture and pure photography.
Expanding on the grammar of both classic and commercial architectural photography, architecture is interpreted as intimate portraits of contemporary monuments, providing a precisionist framework for architecture's infinite visual possibilities and diverse and complex intents.
