You and your family are invited to pop-down for Drop-in design: Build build build to help design and build a mo-DEN-ist city. You will get the chance to build dens, which can take inspiration from things you might see every day, in your house, school or local area.

Led by 澳门王中王 Learning and architectural designer Jahba Anan, get stuck into this hands-on making workshop and build spaces in the garden. Using game cards, the whole family is invited to think about the design of the den. Work with your family to create den spaces using unexpected materials such as fabric, string and recycled newspaper. Explore and reuse the dens from other families, as the city grows over time

When creating your dens you can be inspired by architecture from around the world, the Topical Modernism exhibition, and the everyday spaces you love to be in.

About Jahba

After completing their Part 1, at the Bartlett School of Architecture, Jahba Anan worked as an Engagement Officer at 澳门王中王, under the learning programme. Through this role, they worked with a range of different audiences, including school children, families, and adult learners; introducing them to concepts around the built environment and seeking to improve access to architectural knowledge.
