Animal architecture is everywhere; from hamster houses, to bird's nests, underground tunnels to coral reefs; but have you ever wondered how animals create, build and use these living spaces?
Join us for this creative architecture workshop where we will be inspired by all kinds of different animal habitats in the natural and manmade world. We will first design our animal habitats using techniques and ideas inspired by our planet鈥檚 wildlife, biomes and sustainable materials. We will learn about the future of sustainable building materials, animal inspired architectural design and learn 3D model making skills to create buildings fit for all kinds of creatures.
This creative architecture workshop for children aged 11 to 14 will be run by artist educator Katie Kennedy.
