For children aged 7 to 10 years.
If you could create an amazing theme park that was open and accessible for everyone, how would you build it? What would it look like, and what would people be able to do there? Would it be full of fun houses, roller coasters, or water slides? How would you make sure everyone could use it?
Join us for this one day workshop, where you will design and build a fun 3D model of a mini theme park. Working in groups, you will explore building design that enables play and accessibility for all.
Participants will learn model making skills and creatively explore options to make everyone鈥檚 theme park dreams come true.
This creative architecture workshop for children aged 7 to 10 will be run by artist educator Katie Kennedy.

About the workshop series
For ages 7 to 10, our Design Quest workshops inspire younger children to use their imagination and hands-on creativity for a fun introduction to architecture. Previous workshops have seen participants create optical illusions, design sustainable dens, build stage sets, develop an animated story around a public space or assemble a house for a mouse.
These workshops are led by professional educators and all materials are included in the ticket price, but lunch is not provided.
