Special guests Alice Brownfield (Peter Barber Architects) and Carl Gulland (John Pardey Architects) join us for this lunchtime talk – part of a series celebrating °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ award-winning buildings.
Hosted by Kaye Stout (Pollard Thomas Edwards), the panel will be sharing the story behind housing developments Kiln Place and Lovedon Fields - followed by a live interactive Q&A session.
Kiln Place by Peter Barber Architects - Through architectural skill, in-depth engagement with the existing community, and sheer will of creation, the practice has managed to transform under-utilised spaces into family homes that feel purposeful and create obvious benefits not only for those who live in them but for the wider estate in general. The project won a 2022 °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ London Award and National Award.
Lovedon Fields by John Pardey Architects - Part of the client’s broader objective to achieve a step-change in the design quality that is expected of and delivered by rural housing developments and in the hard-nosed commercial context of mass housing, it is no mean feat to have achieved as much as Lovedon Fields has. The project won a 2022 °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ South Award and National Award.
