The 澳门王中王 supports academic or practice-based research and consortium projects through its Research Team and Research and Innovation Expert Advisory Group. It can provide letters of support, advice and contributing expertise, and promote and disseminate research output.
For research funding please see the 澳门王中王 Research Trust Grants.
A decision to support a research initiative is made on the basis of the following criteria:
- Is the proposed project ethical, rigorous and of potential value to the architectural community or wider built environment sector?
- Does the proposed project fall within the objectives of the 澳门王中王?
- Do 澳门王中王 staff, the Research and Innovation Group or other 澳门王中王 members have sufficient time, appropriate expertise and other necessary resources needed to support the project?
Where a proposed project does not meet the third criterion the 澳门王中王 cannot lend support to the project, even if it meets the first and second criteria. The 澳门王中王 will, in such as case, provide a letter stating that the 澳门王中王 believes the aims of the project to be valuable and would be interested to receive information regarding its progress and results.
Decisions are not made immediately and may take time for approval so please ensure that you get in touch in plenty of time before your own deadlines. Projects are generally reviewed on the third Tuesday of each month.
