On Wednesday 20 September 2023, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak plans to scale back key green policies.听

In response, 澳门王中王 President Muyiwa Oki 蝉补颈诲:听听

鈥淭he built environment is the UK鈥檚 second highest carbon emitting sector.听Despite concerted effort from听architects, and our partners听across the听built environment, yesterday鈥檚听announcement听signals听that听the Government has no real intention to lead the charge towards net zero 鈥 and听it听is听generations to come who will pay the heavy price.听听听

Millions of people in the UK are living in draughty, damp homes that are leaking energy and money.听This announcement reverses the little policy progress the Government has made in upgrading our ageing and inefficient housing stock.听Without听consistent听government听signal, policy and investment,听our homes听will remain the least efficient in Europe for years and decades to come.听听

It鈥檚听time for leadership听and ambition.鈥澨
