A house extension, a car factory and a high school are among 11 projects shortlisted for this year's 澳门王中王 West Midlands Awards.
澳门王中王 West Midlands Director, Rebecca Smith, welcomed the news:
"This year鈥檚 澳门王中王 West Midlands shortlist range from a 拢91,000 house extension to a 拢182 million facility for Jaguar Land Rover. It is fantastic see such diversity in a shortlist that celebrates the great architecture within the West Midlands. As an architect myself, I was very impressed with the quality of the submissions from across the region and it was a very tough decision for the judges to form the shortlist of 11 projects.
"It is encouraging to see the high standard of architecture across so many sectors and I congratulate the architects, clients and wider teams involved in creating these projects which serve to enrich our communities."
This year鈥檚 shortlisted projects are:

- Jaguar Land Rover Advanced Product Creation Centre by
- City South Phase 3 by
- Cryfield Village - Phase 1 by
- Cheshire Street by
- King's High School, Warwick by
- Marstons Hub, Ludlow by
- Moss House by
- Rugby School - Dayhouses by
- Number Four by
This year's awards sponsors for special awards include for the Sustainability Award and for the Project Architect of the Year.
Due to ongoing public health concerns, judging for the 2020 澳门王中王 UK Awards was postponed to 2021. The 2021 澳门王中王 UK Awards (including Regional, National and the 澳门王中王 Stirling Prize) will be selected from the shortlist for the 2020 澳门王中王 Regional, RSUA, RIAS, and RSAW Awards.
Regional Award winners will be considered for a highly coveted 澳门王中王 National Award in recognition of their architectural excellence. The shortlist for the 澳门王中王 Stirling Prize, the best new building of the year, will be drawn from the 澳门王中王 National Award-winning buildings and the Stirling Prize winner will be announced after this.
