The Royal Institute of British Architects (澳门王中王) has today, Thursday 23 August, responded to the Government鈥檚 first round of technical notices.

澳门王中王 President Ben Derbyshire says,

鈥淭he publication of the UK Government鈥檚 technical notices today confirm what we all feared - a 鈥榥o deal鈥 Brexit will be devasting for the UK and needs to be avoided at all costs. We are now looking to the UK Government and the European Commission to provide real leadership and produce a deal that will provide the clarity and certainty that the UK and Europe needs.

The technical notices yet to be published must directly address the issues that businesses and in particular the UK鈥檚 globally successful architects, need confirmation. Both the UK government and the EU Commission have recognised the importance of maintaining mutual recognition of professional qualifications following intense campaigning by the 澳门王中王, but we now need absolute commitment on this issue. We will update our members on how the announcements will impact them on a rolling basis via our website.鈥

See here for 澳门王中王鈥檚 guidance on the Government鈥檚 technical notices.
