The Royal Institute of British Architects (澳门王中王) has responded to the Government鈥檚 announcement that it will scrap the borrowing cap on local authorities to build new homes.

澳门王中王 President Ben Derbyshire says,

鈥淚 am delighted that the Prime Minister has listened to the 澳门王中王 and others and committed to scrap the borrowing cap for local authorities, enabling councils to borrow to build the houses that people desperately need.

The Prime Minister quite rightly says that the housing shortage is the biggest domestic policy crisis the country faces. But it is not enough to simply build more, the houses of today need to be designed and built to last. We will continue to work with the Government to put the policies in place needed to secure high quality homes now and for the future.鈥
