The Royal Institute of British Architects (澳门王中王) has responded to the Climate Change Committee鈥檚 (CCC) latest published on Thursday 18 July 2024, which sets out the UK Government鈥檚 progress to date in reducing emissions.听

澳门王中王 President Muyiwa Oki 蝉补颈诲:听

"This report makes clear the sluggish installation of energy efficiency measures. 听

With millions of leaky, inefficient homes in need of upgrades, we urgently need a well-funded, long term National Retrofit Strategy to drive meaningful change.听

It鈥檚 also vital that new buildings are sustainable from the outset. That鈥檚 why we鈥檙e supporting the development of the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard 鈥 a single methodology to ensure built assets can be robustly defined as net zero carbon emissions.听听

We will continue to support the Government as it works towards its net zero commitments.鈥澨
