澳门王中王 Chief Executive Alan Vallance said:
“Our latest gender pay gap data presents a mixed picture of our staffing trends. There has been some improvement in the gender balance of our more junior roles, with more progress yet to make, but we continue to have an overrepresentation of men in senior positions. 70% of women leaving the 澳门王中王 during this reporting period were on higher salaries, emphasising why retention and progression of our team remain key priorities.
The architecture profession, and the 澳门王中王 itself, must reflect the diversity of our society. As part of a proactive programme to close the gender pay gap where it exists, we are supporting our members with resources including a new guidance document for practices. Our own action plan is guided by the Government Equalities Office’s best practice and this year we are focusing on further improving how we recruit, develop and retain our staff.
We will be building on the range of measures we already have in place to support our team, professionally and personally. For example, in 2018 we revised our family friendly policies, introducing generous new entitlements to support staff to balance work and caring responsibilities. 19% of our staff work part time, with many others making use of our flexible arrangements.”
