°ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ China Architect 100: participants revealed

The °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ has published a new digital guide celebrating °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ China Architect 100 programme participants.

In late 2019, °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ officially opened an office in Shanghai, China. Over the past years, we have connected China's architecture with the international architecture world and highlighted the achievements of outstanding Chinese architects through design competitions, academic activities, and communication platforms.

The mission of °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ's work in China is to bring together the thinking and practice of contemporary architecture in China into the global architectural knowledge system and show the achievements of Chinese architects and their importance in promoting global architectural excellence.

The °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ China Architect 100 programme was launched in June 2020, inviting Chinese architects to become part of °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ’s global community by having their projects showcased online.

The °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ China Architect 100 programme is designed to achieve the following objectives:

We have now published a digital guide celebrating the participants – 100 leading Chinese architects from different generations and locations across the country and their works across a range of fields in architecture.

Participants of the programme receive °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ Chartered Membership status and gain access to a range of °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ digital publications, digital events, and expert guidance.

As part of the celebration of °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ China Architect 100, we’ve released a video series: Meet the members in China. Hear from 10 Chinese architects who reveal the projects they're most proud of while discussing various topics about architecture.

In 2023, we also hosted a successful exhibition "°ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ China Architects: Building Contemporary China" at 66 Portland Place, London, showcasing the work of eleven talented architects from the China Architect 100 programme.  to discover diverse design approaches and gain valuable insights into Chinese architecture.
