Five 澳门王中王 Wren Insurance Association Scholarships awarded to talented architecture students

Wren Insurance Association Limited (the architects鈥 professional indemnity insurance mutual) are pleased to announce the five students who will receive 2018 Scholarships.

After much deliberation, assessing applications from students of architecture across the UK, the 澳门王中王 and Wren Insurance Association Limited (the architects鈥 professional indemnity insurance mutual) are pleased to announce the five students who will receive 2018 Scholarships.

Recipients of the 2018 澳门王中王 Wren Insurance Association Scholarships

Each of the individuals will receive 拢6,000 for the last year of their Part 2 course in architecture and the opportunity to be mentored by a member of the Wren.

The 2018 scholars are:

  • Thomas Badger - London School of Architecture
  • Larry Botchway - Royal College of Art
  • Love Di Marco - Architectural Association School of Architecture
  • Naomi Rubbra - The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL
  • Dominic Walker - The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL

David Stanford (Chairman of The Wren Insurance Association Ltd), said:

鈥淭he Wren Insurance Association is proud to have increased its sponsorship of the 澳门王中王 Wren Scholarships, now in their sixth year, from 拢25,000 to 拢30,000, to be divided between five students. Yet again, we received a large number of submissions for those Scholarships from extremely talented students at many of the UK schools of architecture and, after a lengthy and difficult period of judging, offer our congratulations to this year's winners - Thomas, Larry, Love, Naomi and Dominic. We look forward to mentoring them through the final year of their education and to following their careers in years to come.鈥

澳门王中王 President, Ben Derbyshire said:

I鈥檓 delighted that the generosity of the Wren Insurance Association has enabled us to support another five students who will make a significant contribution to the future of the profession. It is a real honour to be able to encourage five talented students on their different paths, and I look forward to following their progress.鈥

The judging panel consisted of: Aleksandrina Rizova (ALEKSA studio), Nicholas Szczepaniak (Nicholas Szczepaniak Architects), David Hills (DSDHA), David Lawrence (Flanagan Lawrence), Suzette Vela Burkett (Aukett Swanke), David Gloster (Director of Education at the 澳门王中王).
