Cheshire Society of Architects elect new Branch Council

The Cheshire Society of Architects are delighted to welcome new members to the Branch Council following the Annual General Meeting in Chester on 27 February 2018.

Dorian Proudfoot (Donald Insall Associates) will take on the role of President from Randal Turner (Raise Architects), with Dorian having previously served as VP since 2015. Dorian is an 澳门王中王 Chartered Architect and has worked at Donald Insall Associates in Chester having joined the practice in 2011.

The full list of elections to the Cheshire Society of Architects Branch Council are as follows:

  • President - Dorian Proudfoot, Donald Insall Associates
  • Immediate Past-President - Randal Turner, Raise Architects
  • Treasurer - Chloe Sheward, Purcell
  • Councillor - Julian Baker, Ellis Williams Architects
  • Councillor - Gwyn Roberts, Donald Insall Associates
  • Student Councillor - Chloe Purcell, Raise Architects
  • Student Councillor - Fiona Johnson, Donald Insall Associates

The new Branch Council are now underway making plans for 2018 and beyond and would welcome the support of the members based in and around Cheshire. The Branch Council will meet on a monthly basis at the Bear & Billet in Chester on the second Wednesday of the month, with the first meetings taking place on 14 March, 11 April, 9 May and 13 June.

The Cheshire Society of Architects was founded in 1964 and is a branch of the Royal Institute of British Architects in the North West. There is no charge for CSA membership which is open to all 澳门王中王 members who live or work in the Cheshire area.

The CSA is a volunteer steering group which comprises of a President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Chartered and Student committee members, and exists to support members to discuss professional matters, influence 澳门王中王 policy, collaborate on promoting the profession, and generally create the means by which members may support one another and strengthen the 澳门王中王.
