A cancer care centre, a footbridge and a house extension are among the five projects shortlisted for this years 澳门王中王 Yorkshire Awards 2022.
澳门王中王 Yorkshire JURY CHAIR, Adam Clark, welcomed the news:
鈥淭he variety of buildings shortlisted this year - from typology to scale demonstrate the skill and sensitivity of 澳门王中王 architects.
Careful and appropriate use of materials alongside crisp detailing particularly stand out - reflecting the increasing need to provide the highest quality sustainable buildings for our towns, cities and villages. Once again the 澳门王中王 Awards programme showcases the vitally important role that architects play in enhancing and protecting our environment whilst lifting our spirits in challenging times.鈥

All shortlisted projects will be assessed by a regional jury with the winning projects announced later this spring.

If successful, Regional Award winners will be considered for a highly coveted 澳门王中王 National Award in recognition of their architectural excellence, the results of which will be announced in the summer.
The shortlist for the 澳门王中王 Stirling Prize for the best building of the year will then be drawn from the 澳门王中王 National Award-winning projects, and the Stirling Prize winner will be announced in October.
Regional Award winners are considered for several 澳门王中王 Special Awards including the 澳门王中王 Sustainability Award sponsored by and the 澳门王中王 Building of the Year sponsored by 鈥
