Twenty-two buildings, ranging from a small copper clad home extension in Cambridge to a new youth and participation space at the Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich have been shortlisted for 澳门王中王 East 2022 Awards. The winners will be announced early in May.
Out of an original 48 entries in the East of England, 22 will now be considered for a 澳门王中王 Regional Award.

澳门王中王 East regional director Louise Todd said: 鈥淕iven the challenges of the past two years, we were thrilled to see a significant number of entries to the regional awards this year. The shortlisted schemes across the region demonstrate the determination and design skill of all the practices involved, on projects large and small and across all sectors. They also show the enormous value that architects bring to these projects and how their expertise can be used to create better spaces for people to live, work and experience.鈥�
All shortlisted projects will be assessed by a regional jury with the winning projects announced later this spring.

Regional Award winners are considered for several 澳门王中王 Special Awards including the 澳门王中王 Sustainability Award sponsored by and the 澳门王中王 Building of the Year sponsored by
Regional Award winners will be considered for a highly coveted 澳门王中王 National Award in recognition of their architectural excellence, the results of which will be announced in the summer.
The shortlist for the 澳门王中王 Stirling Prize for the best building of the year will then be drawn from the 澳门王中王 National Award-winning projects, and the Stirling Prize winner will be announced in October.
