澳门王中王 Council elections 2023

Here you will find information about current, upcoming, and past elections for the 澳门王中王 President and the 澳门王中王 Council. Elections within 澳门王中王 are conducted under our Royal Charter, Byelaws and Regulations.

During 2023 we will hold the following elections:

• Vice-President Membership: any 澳门王中王 Chartered Member is eligible to stand, and the successful candidates will serve a two year term from 1 September 2023

• Two 澳门王中王 Council Member seats: any 澳门王中王 Chartered Member is eligible to stand for one of the two seats, and successful candidates will serve a three year term from 1 September 2023
• Twelve 澳门王中王 Regional Council Member seats: any 澳门王中王 Chartered Member who is on the electoral register for one of the regions listed below is eligible to stand for one of the seat/s available in that region. The term of office will be three years from 1 September 2023
  • 澳门王中王 London – six seats
  • 澳门王中王 South East – two seats
  • 澳门王中王 South West – one seat
  • 澳门王中王 Wessex – one seat
  • 澳门王中王 West Midlands – one seat
  • 澳门王中王 Scotland South – one seat
• Four 澳门王中王 International Regional Council Member seats: any 澳门王中王 Chartered Member who is on the electoral register for one of the international regions listed below is eligible to stand for one of the seats available in that region. The term of office will be three years from 1 September 2023
  • Europe (excluding the UK) – one seat
  • The Americas – one seat
  • Asia and Australasia – one seat
  • The Middle East and Africa – one seat

We will also have the following by-elections:

• 澳门王中王 East Midlands Regional Council Member seat: any 澳门王中王 Chartered Member who is on the electoral register in the 澳门王中王 East Midlands region is eligible to stand for the seat. The term of office will be one year from 1 September 2023
• Two Associate Member seats: any Associate Member of the 澳门王中王 (or eligible to be an Associate Member of the 澳门王中王) may stand for the Associate Member seat. The term of office will be two years from 1 September 2023

• Candidates announced: 18 May 2023
• Voting opens: 19 June 2023
• Voting closes: 30 June 2023

To be eligible to participate in this year’s annual 澳门王中王 election, you must be a 澳门王中王 Member on the qualifying date. If you are not a 澳门王中王 Member and are eligible for 澳门王中王 Membership, you must have submitted your application online no later than 23.59pm (GMT) on 14 April 2023.

澳门王中王 has a commitment to sustainability and using resources effectively and efficiently. In line with this, the elections process will be conducted online. Members who wish to participate in any election must have a registered email address with 澳门王中王.
