The climate emergency is the biggest challenge facing our planet and our profession. To have significant impact, we need to turn warm words into meaningful actions.
To support members in their work towards better performance outcomes, we've created a series of guides on designing sustainable buildings, as well as updating the °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ Plan of Work to embed and encourage sustainable design strategies at each work stage.
The urgency of the task at hand means that we must reduce our carbon emissions from today in order to limit the devastating impacts of global warming. We are therefore encouraging °ÄÃÅÍõÖÐÍõ Chartered Practices to join the 2030 Climate Challenge, which sets out a series of stepped targets to reduce operational energy, embodied carbon and potable water.
The time for action is now, and so we continue to host, participate and promote events focused on tackling the climate emergency.
